Country French meets American antique reproduction in this kitchen

Building on the antique feeling of this historical home in southern CT, Wendy chose antique reproduction hand-planed cabinetry. A clerestory window was added to bring in extra light to the customary dark interior found in older homes. The use of a central table is both a nod to American history and contributes to a European feeling. Custom tile work brings in that country French feeling as well.
