Builder Magazine 2010 Watermark Grand Award

National Kitchen & Bath Association 2010 Awards – Second Place

Wendy F. Johnson CKD, CBD was awarded Second Place Winner in the Open Kitchen Category of NKBA’s annual national kitchen and bath design contest at the award ceremony in April. Judging of over 530 entries with three winners in each of eight categories was done in February by a panel of nationally known and recognized Kitchen and Bath Designers, Interior Designers, and magazine editors. The Award Ceremony took place at The Annual Kitchen and Bath Industry Show, which this year was held at McCormick Convention Center in Chicago, Illinois.

The winning kitchen was a modern design combining veneered alder and stainless steel cabinetry with granite and glass countertops for a new family-friendly open space. Wendy is sole designer and owner of Designs For Living, Inc. and has been published in many shelter and industry magazines throughout her 32 year career.
